I had a great experience with the dentist at Gibson City hospital they were friendly professional and very helpful. They done an amazing job and I want to thank them for everything. The rest of staff that works at Gibson City hospital are very friendly and very kind people. I want to update my review about the hospital in general.. the medical ride center they canceled my ride for some reason and I told the hospital about it. I told them that I was stuck unless I can try to find me a ride back home. They went way and beyond to help me get back home and I'm home safe and sound thank you so much for you're hospitality and kindness with great customer service.. they had a medical van give me a ride back home I am so relieved that I'm home now..

The dental techs were absolutely amazing with my daughter! They took the time and explained everything to her as they were doing it. Granted it was just a cleaning, x-rays and an exam, but they were so good with her! I do feel like the dentist seemed a bit rushed though. I mean he asked if we had any questions for him, but he seemed to give quick answers and then would ask if we had any other questions while looking like he couldn’t wait to get out of the room. Other then that, they seemed to be good with my daughter and that’s the most important thing for us.

[Saw the dentist at this facility] My dental hygienist was very kind and checked in on me during my cleaning to make sure I was okay (I have a fear of the dentist). My only complaint is how far out you have to schedule your appointment because they're so booked up. But I realize that this is not their fault. Overall it was a great experience and everyone I interacted with (receptionist, hygienist, and dentist) were very kind and courteous to me.

The dentist was not gentle or personable at all and I feel like it is just in service for money, not for patients. Like he was a drone moving from room to room as fast as he can, only moving out of muscle memory. It takes way too long(months) to get an appointment just to be rescheduled for a longer wait, but unfortunately, if you are poor, it’s your only option for a dentist in the area, and Gibson Area Hospital knows it. It costs nothing to be kind, gentle, and have better bedside manner. Also I keep getting a text to rate the visit you all cancelled before the actual appointment date.

I am on Medicaid and never expect to be treated like a patient who can pay. Not only was I treated with compassion and good humor, but everyone there is top notch in their respective jobs. I have upper dentures that I did not get there, and they told me to bring them in next time because they can clean them for me too. Above and beyond. It is worth the trip, though, to have an x-ray with their 360 degree picture...it is so cool!

I had a wonderful experience at Gibson City Hospital and I was pleased with my treatment UNTIL I received a call yesterday (February 3,2023)mind you 6 days before my surgery I was notified that my surgery was canceled due to my Dr leaving ( I literally just seen her last week) what in the world???? Now I’m left trying to figure out who can do my procedure (I was comfortable with her & now I’m starting all over) and several appointments and tests later along with building a so called TRUSTED (NOT) relationship with Dr Hernandez, what ever happened to fulfilling a obligation and commitment? I rearranged my life and was gearing up for this procedure and now it’s canceled , I’m very annoyed , let’s not forget all the appointments I went to and the Dr bills that have accumulated, I bet your precious area Gibson City wants me to fulfill that obligation huh 🤔 I believe Dr Hernandez should have fulfilled her obligations then left! Yes I’m angry!

The staff was great. The dental assistant and i had a few laughs… i just felt i wasted My time going there when they can’t do anything for me until October 2023… i waited since March for my appointment this year only to get told what i already Know and to come back a year later… pretty disappointing and a waste of my time.
